What is Helios Booth?

Helios Booth is an "open-air" style photo booth which was created with image quality and versitility in mind. Helios packs a punch with professional photography equipment and high-end peripherals into a self-contained unit. Helios booth can be used with or without a backdrop, set up indoors or outdoors, and offers the ability to engage a large group into photo sessions.

With image quality a priority, we use a professional Canon DSLR camera inside our photo booth.

Studio Ring Flash

When it comes to photography, lighting is key! Our photo booth uses a professional studio strobe ring flash.

Touchscreen Monitor

An industrial touch screen monitor allows users to both visually see themselves and select session options.

Dye-Sublimation Printer

Our printer allows for prints in as little as 14 seconds and instantly cut 2" x 6" strip prints!

Frequently Asked Questions

how does your open-air photo booth differ from a traditional one?

A traditional photo booth is usually a small enclosed booth with a seat and curtain that only fits two people comfortably. Our open-air styled photo booth is a freestanding pod that makes use of an 8' x 8' backdrop. This setup allows us to fit a group of people into a photo session at one time, more options for backdrops & backgrounds, and enhances the vibe of any event!

Do you recommend 2"x6" or 4"x6" photo prints?

The choice between your photo print sizes is really up to you. If you want that classic photo strip look, we suggest the 2"x"6 (which prints out two strips each session). We suggest selecting the 4"x6" prints if you want larger, more visible images, or if you plan on choosing the green screen option.

Can the event details and graphics on prints be customized?

Our base package includes customizing the type at the bottom of each photobooth print with your event name and date. If you would like to customize the layout, graphics, or other type on the prints, we can usually accommodate further customization, just call us or email us for a quote. This information must be provided ahead of time and can not be changed from print to print.

What are location requirements for the photo booth?

The photobooth needs a 10ft x 10ft space with a minimum of 8ft vertically. A little extra space never hurts either, but this is our minimum requirement in order to set the booth up properly. We also need to be within 20ft of a 110volt 15amp 3-prong power outlet that's dedicated to our equipment — that means we need our own circuit that we're not sharing with the DJ, the caterer, or any lighting equipment.

Where are you located?

We're located in beautiful Brevard, North Carolina, surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and white squirrels! Our western North Carolina location allows us to offer our services to neighboring cities and towns, with regular visits to the Asheville, Greenville, Clemson, Hendersonville, and Waynesville. We're available to travel, but events located more than 50 miles from us may require an additional travel fee.

Can your photo booth be setup outdoors?

Yes, we love outdoor events! If the booth is going to be set up outside, we need a relatively flat, shaded area. If there is a potential for rain, we need to be completely protected from the elements. All standard requirements still apply to being setup outside.
